¶ Satisfactory 1.0 Updates
EVLBOX did not have access to the 1.0 build of the dedicated server before launch. We do meet compatibility requirements set by Coffee Stain Studios, however its likely we will need to rebuild our server configuration to support 1.0 properly.
¶ How do I update to 1.0?
Server owners should download a copy of their local save game file prior to the update for safe keeping.
In the Nitro Control panel, go to the Startup tab, and choose "FactoryGame" under startup mode. Customers with new servers as of 9/10/2024 should not need to do this.
Make sure that automatic updates are enabled (also in the startup tab).
Restart the server, and connect.
We will post frequent updates in our Discord, subscribe to notifications in the #rules-and-roles channel to be alerted when we have new updates.
¶ How do I connect to my server in 1.0?
Launch the 1.0 version of the game. Then click Server Manager in the game manu. Click Add Server at the bottom of the screen and enter in your address and port.
The Address and port can be found in the Nitro Panel of your game server. If you have previously connected in game before the update, you may need to re-enter or update the port number.
After you click confirm, you will get a pop up message titled "Server Certificate Warning" click confirm to proceed.
If you have set a server password, you will be prompted to authenticate before connecting to the server. Enter the server password and enjoy the game!
¶ Known Issues with 1.0
Setting Max players above 4 is currently not working. We're not sure if this was removed completely, or if it needs to be configured in a different way.
